![]() (My clip as an example I was perma CCd from the moment that tank engaged on me till my death).ĭefinitely stick to the 4.1 and 4.2 builds. I've been a healer most of my Albion's career and I'll tell you that: nothing scarier than being dove by a tank and 2 melee DPS. Strenght of melee dps is the ability to follow your tank's engage on the backline. Greataxes and other melee builds are absolute bomb right now especially in small scale pvp (3v3 up to 100v100 even). You'll get burnt out forcing yourself to play bows only. If you feel like learning how to play better feel free to join my guild's server - I will go duo with you and show you some tricks! No need to join the guild ofc. He had the broad knowledge I mentioned earlier, never really mained axes. He was outshining guys with 1320 IP because he knew his job in a fight. My friend who came back to Albion after 6 months on fresh account (previous acc was banned) was the best frontline I had using infernal scythe and wearing 1k IP gear. The reason it doesn't happen often is that people are scared of such fights or just inexperienced. 3 people running correct builds that are worth 80k each and have 1000 IP average will win against solo player in 1500 IP gear worth 4m. Good spec helps but no, it's not necessary to have uber specs to do well as a team. That being said there are some weapons which sadly aren't really playable right now (by playable I mean versatile enough to be your "main" weapon, every weapon in the game could fit some niche).Īnd now to answer your directions directly: The thing is, it's smart to do "_" part before "|" part. Which means general knowledge + expertise in one particular tree. IRL people who recruit for a job often look for a "T-shaped" skillset in a person. Having broad experience is crucial for this. In my opinion though it's more important to know WHY weapon X is meta. There will be plenty of people who tell you that something is currently "meta" which means it's easier to succeed with. My best advice would be to try every weapon type, level it up to let's say 30/100 (so that you can wear t6 which is often best bang for your buck).ĭoing so will enable you to a) Pick whatever YOU liked the most instead of following some reddit or youtube advice and b) when you'll start PvPing you can inspect people and immedietly have general idea on what their win condition against your are. ![]() I've fallen for this mistake early and specced my holy staffs to 550/700. Don't feel obliged to get 1400 IP and run "endgame content" fast. ![]() Remember that Albion is a sandbox - you can do whatever you want, at the pace you want. I also sometimes respec from weapons that I dont think I'll play anymore. I also struggle to stick to one build, it just gets boring to get 100/100 in something even though I have 130 mil total fame.
